Katie & Preston: married in the summer rain at Meadowlark 1939

Katie & Preston are two of the most adventurous people I know, so it was only fitting that their wedding day was just that. In typical Georgia fashion, the forecast kept changing all weekend from no rain to rain and back again. Right before the ceremony started and we had toyed with some indoor options, Katie & Preston decided to embrace the adventure and stick with their original vision to get married outside and I am so glad they did. Everyone huddled together and the summer storm made for the most intimate and special ceremony. Right after they said I do, there was even the most incredible roar of thunder that was truly magic. They danced their day through the rest of the night and the rain and mud couldn't stop these two from being filled with pure joy. In typical Katie & Preston adventurous fashion, the night ended with Katie cutting her wedding dress since the bustle broke & it was covered in mud, and they went out with a bang as they jumped into the pool with all of their friends. Truly the most joy filled day for two of the most joy filled humans.
